About
About
I teach a balanced approach to dog training with techniques tailored to the needs of both dog and handler. I have worked with diverse issues, including pulling, fear, and aggression. I have personally trained my dog (Luka) from puppyhood to adulthood. When he was just over a year old, we began visiting Valley Terrace, where he successfully interacted with many residents. I firmly believe that any dog is capable of being the companion you’ve always wanted.

When we brought our puppy Pippa home from a rescue situation in Brooklyn NY, she had experienced a difficult early life… Our sessions with Sam have been very successful and Sam’s dog Luca, who he has trained as a service dog, has also helped us, especially with working on reactivity with other dogs on leash.

"Sam has a way with dogs that goes beyond commands. It’s a quiet understanding, a bond built on trust."
Susan S,
(Retired) Life Enrichment Director,
Valley Terrace Assisted Living
"Sam really listens. He focused on our dog's aggression and excessive barking in the home. His plan for change was clear and effective. We saw a dramatic improvement fairly quickly."
